The Gulf of Mexico Coastal Ocean Observing System is opening a call for proposals as part of its five-year work plan under the U.S. Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) FY 2021 Notice of Federal Opportunity. Proposals to GCOOS should support sustained ocean observing in the Gulf of Mexico and fit within the GCOOS Strategic Plan 2020-2025.

On June 22, GCOOS hosted a webinar with Executive Director Dr. Barbara Kirkpatrick, who  discussed the call for proposals and the GCOOS system priorities for the next five years.

Please note: You must be a GCOOS member to submit a proposal. And if you are a current PI on GCOOS funded projects, you ARE required to reapply.
